Swayzak vs. Theorem – 020100

Brown and Taylor formed back in 1993 and in those post-iron curtain times took much inspiration from the dark and cold eastern block.
The Swayzak name came later as much inspired by Eastern Europe as it was Hollywood . . . this is indicative of the juxtaposition of Swayzak.

Delano Smith – This Heart

Delano Smith was one of the first ‘mobile DJs’ in a city that embraced DJ culture early on, before Music Stores sold more turntables than guitars. Emerging as one of the top progressive DJs in Detroit during the 80s, alongside the legendary Ken Collier (RIP), Smith mastered the art form while playing the underground and club parties that set the stage for today’s global party circuit.

After taking time off from Djing in the 90s to pursue personal interests, Smith began playing events again after receiving numerous requests from promoters.
Smith began producing music in 2002 and released his first track, “Tribunal of Souls” on Psychostasia Recordings.

Later that year, his successful contribution to the internationally recognized Detroit Beatdown Vol. 1 on Third Ear Recordings inspired him to launch his own label to bring his music, along with other artists, to the global house community.

Enjoy this deep track from the legend Delano S .

Genius of Time – Drifting Back

Add a souldful taste to a continious deep melody and you’ve got this amazing track from Genius of Time. Released on the Dutch label Royal Oak in 2011, this track along with Houston We Have a Problem is exactly what we like at Dansons !

Göteborg’s Alexander Berg and Nils Krogh have led the way for Swedish live house outfits in the last year, playing gigs around the world with an orchestra full of vintage drum machines and synthesizers, weaving their deep house grooves with a distinctly human touch. ENJOY !

Amir Alexander – Deep & Raw

A Dj. since 93. A producer since 98. A true student of the music/culture. Amir founded Vanguard Sound in February 2006. After making his presence felt in the Chicago club scene via a meteoric rise culminating a Dj watch feature in Chicago’s 5 magazine, he completely disappeared and went beneath the underground to focus solely on advancing his production skills.

SE62 – True Force

Initiated in 2010 by someone we like very much at DansonsParis (Jeremy UndergroundParis), the Parisian label My Love Is Underground has its roots in the New York and New Jersey House of the 90s, with such already signed artists as D’Julz, Bicep or even Anton Zap!

Hence this super club-efficient and super groovy track released and produced by SE62, Jeremy and Malin Genie on their last EP MILU 15. Enjoy how vibrant it is guys!
